The firm was founded in the late nineteenth century by Simon de Félice, lawyer, professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Lausanne (1868-1935). Associate in 1914, Mauritius Baudat (1888-1969), President from 1941 to 1944, has practiced the bar for the rest of his life. He was joined by Jean Reymond (1893-1960), President from 1950 to 1953, then by Pierre Ramelet, President from 1974 to 1976, Claude Reymond, Professor Emeritus at the University of Lausanne, former Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law Geneva, then by other members. Throughout its history, the firm has forged a special experience in civil law and obligations, commercial law, real estate, administrative law, the right of prosecution for debts and bankruptcy, and that international law, including international arbitration.
